It is our mission to be a caring Lutheran church that
addresses
your needs;
both spiritual and physical.
St. Paul's is a growing group of Christians who wish to share God's
Good News in Jesus Christ. We offer both traditional and less formal worship
styles, yet follow our heritage as part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church
in America. The congregation was established in 1867 and is part of
historical Pittsford, bu
t sees its mission as reaching out to people in an
ever-changing world.
Please feel free to introduce yourself by filling out the form on the bottom of this page or by calling the Church Office.

It is my sincere wish that you
will be glad you were with us today, and look forward to seeing us again.

Pastor Jeff Hedin.
St. Paul's has a thriving Sunday church school program designed to meet the spiritual needs of all people ages 3 to 103. It is the goal of the program to
help the students learn more about their faith, develop the values
associated with being a good Christian, and form friendships that support
Christian beliefs.
Sunday School classes are divided into age appropriate groups. The classes are between services, starting at 9:45 a.m. and running until 10:45 a.m. All
learners are invited to meet in the Dorcas Room around 9:30 for a light
snack and fellowship before classes begin.

We have very dedicated Sunday School class leaders who use a mixture of
reading, bible study, crafts, videos, music, and other Christian-based and
engaging materials.
A Christian education program helps us to learn more about our faith and
develop skills and knowledge that will guide us through our lives.
ALL ARE WELCOME!!
Welcome to the Nursery at St. Paul'sl
St. Paul's is blessed with a volunteer-staffed nursery for each of its Sunday Services. Children, ages infant through 6 years, are
welcome to come to the nursery. The nursery volunteers and an usher bring the children to the sanctuary for a children's sermon after the reading of the gospel at each service. After the children's sermon, the adults take the children back to the nursery.
We thank the volunteers for their time. We are blessed with
dedicated volunteers that maintain a safe, fun nursery environment.
In addition to the nursery volunteers, there is a Parent Forum
committee that meets about once a month to discuss needs and issues
regarding the children (infant to teens) and families. Sue Comer is the
Parent Forum Chairperson.
Volunteering at St. Paul's
At St. Paul's there are many areas for you to offer your time and talent.
We believe we have something for everyone.
There are regular opportunities to help with our Sunday morning worship
services by setting up for communion, greeting fellow members at the door,
being an usher who hands out bulletins and takes the collection,
reading the lessons or assisting with communion.
We hold many special events throughout the year that involve many people. Our Annual Chicken Barbecue. Friends of Music recitals, Vacation Bible
School, Annual Picnic, Halloween Party, Christmas Decorating and our
Christmas Pageant are just some of the rewarding events we hold each year.
St. Paul's also provides a great opportunity to help the local and world
community. Saint's Place. Pittsford Food Cupboard. Eastern Service
Workers, the Salvation Army, World Hunger, Church World Service and
Habitat for Humanity are some of the charities
we support with regular fundraisers.
This is just a small sample of all the opportunities to be
a volunteer with St. Paul's.

The more you put into your church the more you will get back.
