A Blood Drive will be held at St. Paul’s tomorrow, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Please call 1-800-448-3543 to schedule an appointment, or just turn up.
The next meeting of the Church Council will be held on Monday September 15th at 6:45 p.m. Council members are asked to have reports for the meeting in the folders by next Sunday, September 14th. Items for the agenda need to be given to the Church Office by 9:00 a.m. Thursday 11th.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will hold a one hour workshop; “My Life, My Plan” on Sunday 21st September at 12 noon. Pick up a green flier from the back of the sanctuary for information on how to register or call our Thrivent representative, Georgette Peterson at 586-1170 x 222. Light refreshments will be served.
Lake Chautauqua Lutheran Center has many fall events, including a Fathers & Sons Day, a Senior Fall Retreat and a Men’s Retreat, scheduled. Please see the community notice boards for more information.
“Christ in our Homes” devotionals for September are available from the Foyer by the name tags.
Church Directories are available from the back of the sanctuary.
All items for the October “Link” must be received by Monday 15th September. Please sign up to help mail it on Thursday September 25th in the volunteer work area.
Volunteer Schedules for communion preparation, greeters hymn boards, lectors & lay assistants, and ushers are ready for collection from the Foyer. Please help us save postage and pick yours up today or next Sunday, September 14th.
Beginning in September Fellowship Clean Up Volunteers will be needed after the second service. Please sign up on the clip board by the coffee urns in the Foyer.
Cookies are needed for Sunday morning fellowship. If you can provide cookies one Sunday, please sign up on the list on the refrigerator in the Dorcas Room kitchen.

Focus of the Week: Picnic
Today is our Annual Picnic at North Lodge in Kings Bend Park. Our outdoor worship will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by the picnic and games. The cost is $4 per person or $12 per family. If you have not yet paid, please put your payment in the collection plate, marked “Picnic”.
Next Sunday, September 14th is Sunday School Rally Day. Please come prepared for a group photo, fun activities, and meeting with your teacher and classmates! The first LYO Meeting will be incorporated into the Rally Day festivities. All 6th-12th grades are invited to attend. LYO meets every Sunday (following the Sunday School calendar) from 9:30-10:00 in the LYO lounge.
Our Handbell and Choir Rehearsals will begin on Wednesday, September 10th at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectively. Please just turn up or call Chris Petit for more information.
Our Adult Forum will begin again on Sunday September 14th at 9:45 a.m. Use the elevator and get out at level three. They will continue the study of Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s book “Life Together”.
You are invited to dine out at Applebee’s in Pittsford Plaza on Tuesday September 16th between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Applebee’s will donate 10% of your check (excluding tax and tip) to Pittsford Volunteer Ambulance. Vouchers to use are at the back of the sanctuary and in the Foyer.
Women of ELCA are collecting NEW Children’s Books (Ages 3-12). The collection box is in the Dorcas Room.
