Back to Construction Home

Home

As usual, we start with a picture of the new entrance as seen from Lincoln Ave.  You can see there hasn't been much action here this week.  They've been concentrating on the Sunday School area.
And here is our weekly picture of the new entrance from the parking lot.  Again, there's some progress, but not a lot as they're concentrating on the inside work.
Here's a new little section of wall that will be near the front entrance to Lincoln Ave.  Note that there are lots of windows so it should be bright and airy.
I don't know what to say about this picture, but our roving website photographer thought it was interesting and here's why:  "It gives you an idea of the height of the grand foyer."
This is the view of the basement.  As you can see, it's coming along. The beams in the ceiling that they were working on last week appear to be complete.
They're working in the kitchen, too.  It'll be nice when it's done, but it's sort of a disaster area right now.
This will be the women's restroom on the main level off the Grand Foyer.

By the way, we .
found this toilet sitting in the hallway.  Is this the one that was previously on the roof?  Will it ever find a home?
And this will be the men's room.  Note the high ceiling and the fancy window.  Eat your hearts out, ladies.
He doesn't like his picture taken, but this week we caught him by surprise.  Ted Hamm is at the church just about every day checking on the progress and helping out from time to time, as he is in this picture.  Thanks, Ted.
This is the entrance to Janet's Office Building.  Well, it's not really her building, but for all you folks in England, she would like you to think that it is.  In reality she has to share it with the pastor and a few others.  Thanks, Mara, for the pots of flowers on the steps.
Finally, last week we showed a view of Janet's office window.  This week we present a different window.  Can anybody guess whose office this might be?
