Back to Construction Home

Home

The only thing that is  obviously new in this view of the Grand Foyer (from here on to be known as the Grand Narthex)  from the parking lot is the pile of wood in the foreground.  It looks like they're getting ready for some major construction.
Step (carefully) into the Grand Foyer (I mean Grand Narthex) and one can see some new major steel beams that have been put in place. It looks like the wood will be used for the roof on the grand foyer.  We can't wait to check back next week..
If you step through the door from the parking lot into the Office Annex, you immediately see a window on your left that looks into the nursery and lets you see the rich blue that it's been painted.
Here's a view you may never see again.  We're standing at the bottom of the LULA shaft looking up.  On the left you can see the one opening at the first floor and the two at the second floor.
The progress in the basement is that supports for the movable room dividers are now in. It's really becoming obvious that the basement is going to be a really great new space.  It's light, airy and dry.  We think we're really going to like this.
