A Little Bit of Done

When your Webmaster saw the first picture that our roving photographer took this week, he said "It's done."  He was looking at the first picture below.  Of course, it was soon revealed that it was just a corner of the basement that was done, but still, it was really nice to see that bit of progress.

It's a real room, ready for real people. (Pardon our enthusiasm.) The walls are pointed, the lights are in, the carpet is on the floor and the new tables and chairs have been put in place.  Neat, eh?

If you step back you can see that the it's really only a corner of the basement that's ready for use, but the rest of the basement just needs chairs and tables and the dividers and it's ready to go.

The entrance to the foyer from Lincoln Ave. is starting to take shape.  We guess we should stop saying that this is a view of the foyer, but rather a view of the entrance into the foyer.

The entrance to the foyer from the parking lot is not quite so far along, but, on the other hand, it's interesting to see what underneath those sheets of plywood.

Remember the little talk that Ted Hamm gave about all the steps that went into making the flat roof over the new foyer?  Layer upon layer?  Well, here's the final product.  All you can see is the final layer of stone, but it's comforting to know that all the rest of the layers are there.
