December 29, 2005 Construction Pictures
Back to Work
Last week we took a break from construction pictures to see our Christmas decorations, but this week it's back to work. However, it appears that some or perhaps even most of the workers took the week off, that there's wasn't much going on.
We were somewhat surprised to check out the Lincoln Ave. entrance to the foyer and to find that some landscaping has been done. New shrubs and trees have placed to the left and right of the walkway and the ground is covered with mulch. The walkway has also been paved.
The truth is that we think these things were in last week, or maybe even the week before, but we didn't notice them because of the snow covering most everything. We wonder whether they will remove the tree.

In the foyer, we find the painters at work again. It appears that the coat of yellow paint that we admired on Christmas Eve was just the undercoat. The final coat is a slightly darker shade of yellow.
We haven't been upstairs in the education building for a while so we thought we'd see what's going on up there. There weren't any workers, but the hallway sure looks bright and inviting compared to before. We also like the fact that the hallway's been straightened out.
Finaly here's one of the upstairs rooms. It looks pretty much done and ready to use to us.
