The organizing committee might not put it this way, but from the point of view of your webmaster, it looks the work on the construction project is just about over. There's a little outside work that needs to be done and even a few details inside. We hear that there's a group working on furnishing the foyer and that could give that room a different look. So, this week, we'll have mostly pictures of the new facilities being used. Don't be surprised if future updates are not every week, but rather as events dictate.

Most of the "road map" on the wall of the sanctuary is gone. There's still a little of the stenciling to be redone, but that will come.

It's not really very photogenic, but it very functional and useful. This is one of the two elevators. This one provides access to the basement as well to the sanctuary balcony .

We're really impressed with the new look of the nursery. Brand new lights, paint and carpeting. Lots of neat toys. Almost makes me wish I were three years old again.

Take the time to read the notices on the kiosk in the Foyer. Lots of good stuff here on both church and community activities. Take time to look it over. (Did I say that already?)

It's really great to be able to have someplace to sit in the foyer, have a cup of coffee and just visit with friends before, after and between services. This is what Christian fellowship is all about, in our view.

But even if all you want to do is relax and read the newspaper between services, the foyer is the place to do that also.
