Goals are to:  
  • Develop Active Volunteer Roles in our community: Habitat for Humanity, RAIHN, LOOP Ministries, South Wedge Mission (SWM), St. John’s Home chapel ministry, Eastern Service Workers Association (ESWA) clothing drives, Crop Walk, Mission trips…
  • Support Collection of Goods for local service providers:  Pittsford Food Cupboard (Halloween candy, adopt-a-shelf), Eastern Service Workers Association (school supplies, clothing drives, toys, winter items, Thanksgiving food items), Homeless Connect (coat drive), Monroe Community Hospital (craft items), Lollypop Farm (blankets & towels), American Red Cross (blood drive), LOOP Ministries (Jazz Fest raffle baskets, Save Around Rochester coupon books), Operation Christmas Child (shoeboxes), Birthright (Mother’s Day baby items),
  • Raise Funds for local and global organizations: RAIHN (LCLC Summer Camp), Saint’s Place (Lenten Loose Change), ELCA (Blanket Appeal, Crop Walk, World Hunger), World Vision (LYO 30 hour famine, Walk for Water), South Wedge Mission
  • Provide Advocacy Opportunities to support social justice initiatives: Children’s Alliance (Children’s Sabbath), ELCA Advocacy, Stand Against Racism
  • Develop Guidelines for Giving and Serving: Thrivent Choice Dollars matching funds; Lenten Loose Change, Elderberry Express, World Hunger, Food Pantry, ELCA Benevolence
