Worship & Music

Scripture and the Sacrament form the heart of Lutheran worship.

We respond in praise, prayer and singing, rejoicing in all that God gives us.

Our worship together at St. Paul’s follows the traditional liturgy and style of Lutheran worship.  Those coming from other traditions will find some familiarity with musical styles, scriptural focus, prayer and community.  We welcome all baptized Christians to the Lord’s table.

Music at St. Paul’s provides a wide range of spiritual expression and speaks to the fullness of the human experience.  Hymn singing is the most important music-making we do together, nourishing us spiritually and bonding us as community.

Under the direction of our gifted Minister of Music, musical offerings are coordinated with the readings of the day to enhance the beauty and meaning of our worship.  The Adult Choir sings at the 11:00 a.m. service, and the Handbell Choir performs once a month at the 8:30 a.m. service.
