God’s Work, Our Hands: Food for the Soul
Thanks for Sunday Picnic Day! A big thanks to everyone who attended the picnic, made or donated food, or used their hands to do God’s work. We had 73 in attendance (plus 17 at 8:30), and filled 70 bags with enough groceries to feed a family for a week. The kids joyfully burst open a piñata, and people stayed and enjoyed fun and fellowship until 2pm. What a day!
We did it!!  70+ bags were collected and assembled during our annual church picnic this year!  The bags will be delivered to Reformation downtown and distributed on Wednesday September 25th to families in need.
Thank you to all who contributed gifts of food, money, muscle, love and spirit to help our neighbors.
Thanks to Michael Rehbaum for capturing the day so beautifully! You can view some of the highlights here:
